Ray Anthony was perhaps best known for playing with Glenn Miller and recording a cover of the DRAGNET theme tune. But he built up a considerable reputation fronting his own band, who back Anthony on this hour-long concert. Shot in black and white, the show features joyous renditions of songs such as
I`ll Remember April
and
You Make Me Feel So Young,
while a medley of tunes from the Glenn Miller-era round out the show.

A huge-selling world music artist, powerful vocalist Cesaria Evora has developed a devoted following, enraptured by her blending of world music and Latin rhythms. Born in Mindelo on the island of Cape Verde, which is situated off the coast of western Africa, she did not record an album until the age of 47 (in 1988), but has been making up for lost time ever since. Recorded live during an April 2004 concert at The Grand Rex in Paris, songs include Nutridinha, Velocidade, Lua Nha Testemunha, Angola, Besame mucho, Mar de Canal, Cretcheu di Creu, Saia Travada, Isolada, Ramboia, Nha cancera ka tem medida, Vaquinha Mansa, Sodade, Carinha di bo mae, Beijo roubado, and Saia Travada.
