A unique blend of traditional Scottish tunes and hardcore punk music, The Real McKenzie are deeply rooted in their Celtic heritage. Their unlikely instrumentation is highlighted by the addition of
bagpipes to the standard guitar, bass, and drum setup. The Vancouver, Canada-based sextet put on a live show that must be seen to be believed, always appearing tricked-out in the traditional garments of kilt, high stockings and sporrans, while performing rowdy punk rock in accompaniment to the ubiquitous booze-fueled party that follows them everywhere. Captured live in London at the Royal Festival Hall, this is a great way to experience the music of the legendary Duke Ellington. The Bob Wilber Big Band work their way through a number of classic numbers from the jazz giant, comfortably interpreting some highly revered material throughout the show. On this release, the prodigiously talented classical pianist Yundi Li performs works by Liszt and Chopin in a concert filmed in Baden-Baden, Germany in 2004. Li plays Liszt`s Sonata in B Minor, Chopin Scherzi Op. 20, 31, 39, and 54, and Chopin`s Nocturne, Op. 9, No. 2.

Inexperienced right- and left-handed bassists can learn everything they need to get started with this instructional program hosted by Roly Salley. Roly demonstrates basic chords, scales, music theory, and bass lines while exposing viewers to a wide range of bass-playing techniques. All of the covered topics (which include: left-hand exercises, turnarounds, inversions, and 12-bar blues) can be incorporated into country, blues, rock, and R&B styles of playing.
