Percussionist Carter Beauford and bassist Victor Wooten take viewers inside the process of creating a song through an examination of the studio sessions for Wooten`s YING-YANG album. In addition, the musicians play their parts for each song separately to show how they combine to make a whole song. The demonstration of this process by two such stellar performers make this necessary for any drum or bass player who wants to more comprehensively approach their craft.

This is the third annual Brainstorm MC battle, held in Seattle, WA. The panel of judges who choose the winner from this crop of fresh talent includes Canibus, Jake One, and J-Live.
