This period drama takes Beethoven fans back to the momentous day on which audiences first heard Eroica -- or as it is also known -- Symphony No.3. Set in 1804 Vienna, the film follows Beethoven (played convincingly by Ian Hart) as he prepares to unveil his grand masterpiece to a select group of listeners at the Lobkowitz Palace in June of that year. BEETHOVEN-EROICA features a full performance of the symphony conducted by Sir John Eliot Gardiner.

Racial tensions run high in this smalltown melodrama. Charlie cannot bring himself to pull the trigger on his own father when his dad finds himself trapped in a blazing inferno. In steps Walter, who pulls the trigger for Charlie in a kindly gesture.
