Two of Dame Joan Sutherland's finest performances are highlighted on this program. The well-loved soprano's talent are presented with with a 1963 Canadian television appearance and a 1969 solo recital at the University of Toronto. Arias and scenes from LA SONNAMBULA, I PURITANI, and LA TRAVIATA are performed along with renditions of other works by Bellini, Handel, Rossini, Bizet, and others.
