This program includes the CD recording of Gerry Mulligan`s THE AGE OF STEAM, as well as related visual material. Mulligan leads viewers through a master class while many of the other contributors to his album give interviews. These musicians include Bob Brookmeyer, Roger Kellaway, Tom Scott, and Stephen Goldman. THE AGE OF STEAM also features a documentary about the recording of the album, and sheet music for each of the compositions, including parts for several different instruments.
