Wagner`s DER FLIEGENDE HOLLANDER (The Flying Dutchman) is rendered in magnificent style here. Matti Salminen is well known for his interpretations of Wagner`s works, and returns here to take on the role of Daland. Joined by a stellar cast, which includes Lisbeth Balslev and Robert Schunk as Senta and Erik respectively, this is a great way to experience one of Wagner`s greatest pieces.
