Andre Nickatina is an independent West Coast talent whose lo-fi beats and old-school rhymes have been hitting the streets over the past 15 years without the aid of a major label. Hailing from San Francisco, Nickatina has released over 11 records on his self-started label Fillmoe Coleman Records, as well as a short film, and the documentary THE GIFT. Presenting a hard-hitting portrait of the Bay Area rap industry, the film is a candid glimpse of the behind-the-scenes scene that audiences aren't normally allowed to see. The film features appearances by Suga Free, Mac Dre, Brotha Lynch Hung, Mac Mall, Goldee, Equipto, and many other rap artists.
