Some of the best work from Austrian conductor Carlos Kleiber is collected here. Conceived shortly after his death as a tribute to the composer, this set includes five concerts in which Kleiber assumed conducting duties. Among the composers whose work is interpreted by the Wiener Philharmoniker, the Concertgebouw Orchestra, and the Bayerisches Staatsorchester are Beethoven, Brahms, and Mozart.
